Mating Time For The Roadrunner

The male roadrunner runs around with a gift in his bill, waiting for a female to come along and take the gift. Along with the gift comes the mating. Afterwards, the female usually gets the gift, but not always. The usual gift is a lizard. This photo was taken on my patio and it is so much fun to watch the mating game.
