Working man...

We have a new money-saving regime now. Needs must!

There is a bus hubby can get to work that is provided by his employer, and it's free of charge! We've never been in a position to utilise it before now, but I have done a wee bit of re-jigging of my hours at MY work so that B can get this free bus to work - a good saving considering it's a 70 mile round trip!!!

Since it's also a 70 mile round trip to my work too, it basically halves our monthly fuel budget. Think of all the shoes you could buy with that! :-)

However, as the bus fits in to a 9 to 5 working week pattern, and B does a condensed 4-day week, he has to make up the extra hours working from home. Here he is this evening putting in a few hours work, getting frustrated in the process by a very slow system... oh dear! Can't win 'em all...
