Doing as I'm told!

Here I am with my favourite toy Mr Squeaker! I am being really good and have learnt to 'leave it' until mum says I can have it. It took me a while to figure out what she meant, but now mum can even put a treat on each of my paws and I will leave it until she says it's ok!

I have had 'one of those day's today! It's been soooooo hard to behave. That's why we I put this blip up, to prove I can behave when I want too!

We had a lovely long walk in the pouring rain this morning (mum had waterproofs this time!) we went with mums friend, her little boy and their doggie Jack the cocker spaniel. Jack is a bit older than me (he's 9) so I was a bit put out that he wouldn't play. I jumped on him time and time again but he got cross with me in the end. Mum says poor Jack, I have to learn that not every doggie wants to play or let me lick their faces, but I just dont get it??! Why not?? Life is just sooooooooo much fun isn't it?

I entertained myself by eating EVERYTHING I could find. Mum had to come into the bushes in the pouring rain to find me as I'd found some of my favourite horse manure spread around the roots. I can't get enough of it. I don't know why mum doesn't like it and gets so cross. It tastes sooooo yummy!! Mum looked very funny in her waterproofs, rummaging around in the bushes trying to drag me out without getting covered in manure herself. Hee hee!

I made it up to her though. We went to puppy class tonight and I performed all my tasks perfectly. She is very happy with me tonight and when I got home DADDY was home!! Yipppeeee! He's been away for a few days. I was so excited I jumped on the sofa & licked him to death!

What a day. I can't wait for tomorrow! I'm not so sure about mum though. She seems exhausted?
