ESCAPE TO THE DALES

No, no escape, even through the loo window, though I am in Yorkshire in the Dales. We were all at our new launch today so had to do the meet and greet and see people face to face who I have only ever spoken to on the phone or by email before. To me, scarey stuff. But it turned out not as bad as I had feared. Phew.

Then, deserting my colleauges who were pushing forward towards a drink and debauchery fun afternoon to celebrate the launch, I set off for the pre-op appointment at the hospital. And what a lovely couple of nurses dealt with me. A refreshing interlude in the much maligned NHS service. Thank you Rebecca and Mark.

And now, yes I know it's early, but off to bed, whacked.
