Bypassed

The M4 motorway extension a few years ago meant that this bar was now bypassed. Mary's Bar sits in a hollow beside the Royal Canal, a few miles from Kinnegad,Co Westmeath. It is across from where Caroline is moored. I reckon the bar suffers because of the new road and the M4 service centre which opened recently.

It was closed when I called on Tuesday evening...hopefully waiting for the season to pick up.
