springtime snow

late last night it began snowing... light, fluffy and slightly wet-filled flakes.

this morning, this is what we woke up to... very pretty snow in the foothills of the mountains - but cold temperatures again and yet another reminder, like we haven't had enough, that winter continues to hang on.

when oh when will it give up the ghost? i am ready for warm weather... sweaters and teeshirts, dresses and sandals; flitting and twirling about in the sunshine. snow doesn't quite allow for that, now does it?

so come forth spring... come now. i'm ready for ya..
