Lunch at the Cherry Tree (whitebait and courgette fries - yum!)
Jumble sale ... not very successful but fun then drive to Holmfirth to see Dan.

The kids are up in Scotland so we have a nice quiet evening catching up ... bottle of wine and log fire. So many years and things we've shared ... such sad and happy memories... the fact that they're happy makes them even more sad. How did it come to this?
Jaime, Niki, Dan and Rachel ... what a mess we made. When did it all start to go wrong? Was it ever right? In a drunken light-bulb moment Dan wonders about Archie ... where does he get that dark curly hair and amazing brain? I look at the photo of him on the side and see someone more familiar looking back ... or is it just the wine and emotion?
