They call it mellow yellow

So the sun didn't know what to do with itself today, and as I am not yet blip qualified enough yet to present beauty from greyness I blipped the lovely bit of colour we saw on the walk on the way home from after school club.

Good day at work, list upon lists of things to do at work and at home, so have not had much time to think about any arty shots so I stuck with posting the one warm colourful shot of the day ( that's a lie, I took about 42 shots of the same daffs.. just incase! ).

Yellow a wonderful vibrant and warm colour. The youngest childling wants a " yellow feast" tommorow night, she has to go to hospital and will miss Brownies so she wants something to cheer her up ( NB it is not a serious hospital appt at all, this is her being a graduate in what's known as " Milking a situation for all you can " ). So far on the list is macaroni cheese, white chocolate, biscuits and yellow party rings ( very different to biscuits there then... ?? ) .. any more suggestions?

I got thinking about songs to do with yellow, was toying with putting a link to Yellow Submarine but figured that the daffs Blip was one forgiveable cliche, to have two cliches in one post may have been pushing it.

Then I found this version of a great yellow song. I love how different the guitar is on it.
