On the rocks
If you ever go through East Linton, do so on the top deck of a double decker bus. From this vantage point, as you cross the bridge on the way out of the village, you glimpse a river running over rocks, and a beautiful-looking riverside walk.
Today, on the way to Haddington to buy goldfish for the lads, we decided to investigate. The rocky outcrop is called Linn Rocks, and today the river was looking pretty spectacular and fast-flowing.
I chickened out of getting more dramatic shots, as the ground was very muddy, and I didn't want Matt and Andy trying to follow me! Also discovered a footpath to Hailes Castle, which we'll have to investigate when the ground's a bit drier.
And we're now the proud owners of Fishy, Nemo and Henry.
