Best Concrete Engineering Structure of the Century

Today is my day off (apart from contracts this morning) so I was hoping it was going to be a lovely day like yesterday, but no such luck, today was overcast and drizzly and quite cool. So we had some debate and contemplatin about where to go, we evenually plumped on Keswick. To start off we had a wander from the old station along the old railway track towards Threlkeld. We soon passed under the bridge that carries the A66 that was Voted Best Concrete Engineering Structure of the (20th) Century. We walked to Low Briery where there used to be a bobbin mill until it shut in 1961. Later we popped into Keswick town centre for a quick look round and a spot of lunch.
