A blip a day...

By gspics

HELLO EVERYONE

Hi everybody in Blipland, my name is Luna and I was born just last night so I am not even a whole day old yet ! I have had lots of visitors today and although I am a bit shaky on my new (very long) legs I managed a smile for the camera. My mummy is loving all the attention too as she gets a carrot everytime someone comes to visit.

Foals are born after a gestation period of approximately 11 months. Birth takes place quickly, consistent with the status of a horse as a prey animal, and more often at night than during the day. Foals are born with an ability to quickly escape from predators; normally a foal will stand up and nurse within the first hour after it is born, can trot and canter within hours, and most can gallop by the next day. A newborn foal's legs are almost as long (90%) as those of an adult horse.(Wikipedia)

Hmmm I think thats a lot of Blip photos taken care of for the next while then
