One up One down

Last day in Sydney before our late afternoon flight back to New Zealand so off we went to have a last look around Circular Quay and do a wee bit of last minute shopping. We were out walking towards the Opera House and we went down this escalator and as I walked away I looked back...

I started to think.............

How many people had this escalator carried up and down here?
Just who had it carried apart from Mrs O and I?
Oh if the escalator could talk the stories it could tell.......
