A blip that will last a lifetime

In the making of Saturdays Techno blip I have created a blip legacy that will last a lifetime, or at least the life of the carpet in my craft room.

Although they look like Jelly Babies they were in fact made by me on Saturday afternoon using a combinaton of Ultra Thick Embossing Powder, various colours of Mica Powder, small Gingerbread Men cookie cutters for templates and a heat gun. It was a fairly lengthy process for each one but towards the end I decided to use the leftovers from each colour to make a "mash up". Powders in the foil tray and heat gun on I made the mistake of attempting to move the tweezers I was holding the tray with and before I knew it the tray was falling towards the carpet and as Murphy's Law dictates it landed upside down. First reaction, lift the tray and attempt to scoop up the liquid. First mistake, liquid has been heated to a high temperature and will remove a layer of skin when touched. The carpet may have been coloured but the air was blue after I touched it :-)

I decided to wait until it had dried and pick it off not realising that the combination of powders is like super glue. Ah well, I think this is what they call a design feature!
