South London at rush hour

Seriously. At least this is me arriving at West Croydon station two seconds after the train had left the platform. It didn't take long to fill up!!

The place was undergoing a refurb - there was the smell of fresh paint and brand new signage but, thankfully, the good old british metalwork and rivets were still there. Kind of nice to see a refurbed old station, instead of replacing it with all new modern facings, keep some of our heritage ;)
