A bird in the hand...

A walk through Pavilion Gardens proved entertaining today.

People-friendly grey squirrels (rats with good PR) prove a good attraction for tourists and children alike. Armed with bags of monkey nuts it is possible to get a timid squirrel to approach to within a few feet.

The feral pigeons are not so timid and not a species to turn down a free lunch, swallowing whole anything they can get their beaks on. They're ofter referred to as rats with wings. You'll get no argument from me.
