The way it used to be!

Today I went to pick up some packages sent from relatives from the north of Greece. It was quite far near the center of Athens but didn't complain as there were some bottles of homemade wine and a bottle of tsipouro (happy times ahead).

The place to pick these up was not the modern train station but rather a couple of kilometers down the road. I was very impressed by this old train. Made me sad to see that it is not well maintained especially as I love trains and train journeys are my favorite way to travel. Still I was happy to hear that this train has been converted into a restaurant and a theater. Will certainly make an effort to go as it sounds really interesting.
