This squirrel was foraging for food in the back garden, unaware of the closed trap that was about a foot away. He kept trying to climb the pole with the bird feeders on, but the squirrel baffle did its job! As cute as squirrels are, they're a right pest and I would love to have shot this one with a gun rather than a camera. But alas, this one lives to see another day. If we don't get the number of greys down, the reds will become completely extinct.
