Monday, Monday

Seeing as Monday is the only day I don't have an 8am lecture I thought a nice cold plunge in the sea would be a great way to start the day, and for that matter the week. This shot was taken just after sunrise as I was standing ion my wetsuit shivering, and though it looks rather gloomy everything was just coming to life, which I tried to capture but it didn't work.

Indeed it was refreshing! I wind was quite nippy and the waves were coming in like radiant stallions gradually lapping into seahorses (Patti Smith!) but it was great fun and I felt alive for physics (though my toes didn't).
Starting the day fresh almost always makes the day flow nicely. I had an entire lecture on neurons which excited me greatly, picked up my new epic climbing shoes and had a lovely evening sharing photos with the OUTC (tramping club).
