Cheating

I always think sunrise photographs are a cheat. They always look atmospheric and emotional and ... and ... and photographic. And all that crap.

This is the Timeball Station at Lyttelton. It's where the sun comes up so I couldn't not have it in the shot unless I 'Shopped it out. So it's cheating but better than no Blip at all.

Or is it? What do you think?

I actually like the composition of yesterdays Blip better. A bit more mystery and tension. And all that crap.
