little moments things that make me smile.

Great feeling to push that clock an hour ahead and get out in the evening light tonight. Although I'm not a fan of flying, seeing as I'm not piloting ;-) I do think that it must be pretty cool to see the land from above in a picnic basket.

When my dad was 50 we bought him a flight in one of these, he loved every minute of it. Before he died a few years ago at the age of 64 and 11/12ths we suggested a trip in an E type Jag, his favourite all time car, he was beyond it at that point. I always look at these and think back to that day when he took off in his 'elevator' with a big grin and it makes me smile inside.
