Sunday night chores

Finally got around to doing the ironing tonight - not that I have a lot of ironing - I am not one of those who irons knickers or socks - but I tend to leave it for a while before getting around to it. Anyway, it's done now.

Had some unexpected company today. Paul was supposed to be going up north to visit a friend, but he didn't feel very well and decided it was safer to stay at home than risk the journey with a dodgy stomach. Gave me a chance to be mum again - it's nice to be able to take care of your kids once in a while. Thankfully, he seems to be feeling a bit better this evening.
