More From My Cardington Carden

I took an excellent walk in the vicinity of 100 Acre again this morning. Lots of birds of the main lake: Greylag, Canadas, Wigeon, Gadwall, Mallard, White Fronted Goose, Tufted Duck, Coot, Moorhen, Redshank, Lapwing, Blackheaded Gull, Cormorant, Grey Heron, Common Gull. Also saw Long-tailed, Great and Blue Tit, Chaffinch, Treecreeper, Wood Pigeon, Collared Dove, Rook & Crow, Pheasant. Red Legged Partridge, Magpie.

The only downside was that photo opportunities were very few, so these images were taken later in the day in my Cardington garden.

On a technical note the bokeh blotches in the foreground are present because there was a bush between me and the bird. I didn't want to move and spook the bird so shot "through" the bush (it was close enough to render it almost invisible)
