hungover mooching in Bournemouth

so with breakfast booked for 11am I was relieved to see the clock say 9:30am meaning I had a chance of sleeping off my hangover. Then I remembered the whole clock going forward business and I was very, very upset!

We were in Bournemouth for a 30th birthday and it was loads of fun. We had a civilised dinner in a sea front restaurant. Then there was a pimped out pink party bus with sparkling wine and a karaoke machine. Tacky as all hell but too much fun.

We stayed in a beautiful boutique hotel called the Bamboo Guest House - the third time we've stayed there this year. It's a small place with 6 rooms but just a few quid more than the travel lodge. Added bonus - we were upgraded to the master bedroom! Lovely!

Today's blip is one of dozens of pictures I took as we mooched around Bournemouth seafront and the pier. It's the 1940s pier building.
