Bob The Builder

An extra day off from work to get started on the floor. Suitably kitted out in my builder's shirt, complete with pencil behind the ears - I may do a sharp intake of breath and say "oooh, it's gonna cost you" later.

A quick coffee break and blip before getting back to it. Had a brief "oh god, what have I started" moment but then cracked on again. Carpet all up, and some of the horrid vinyl tiles underneath - need a flat concrete floor before laying. Gripper rod around the outside is an absolute %&$@ to get up. Evil. Off to the tip to dump said carpet.
