Palacerigg

The sun was shining again, so we decided to try somewhere new, and headed to Palacerigg Country Park. Had a lovely day letting H wander around, looking at the animals - pigs, sheep, goats, hens etc. Although as much as the animals were interesting, H enjoyed people watching more! She was keen to say hello and wave to everyone who walked past (and that amounted to a lot of people!) We did have a time of it, trying to stop her eating the stones she kept picking up.

H loved her daddy pushing her on the swings too - although it was so busy that we didn't want to hog one of the few swings for too long as there were other people waiting. H howled when we took her away from them though! We are definitely seeing the start of toddler tantrums these days. Lots of sitting down in protest at not doing what we want!!!! She is a delight, but very strong willed - I don't want to imagine what the terrible 2s will be like!!

After a long day, H managed 1 fajita for tea, and then went to bed so her Daddy and I could relax and watch a DVD - we watched The Blind Side and I really enjoyed it.
