Figsbury sunset

Took a walk around Figsbury ring, hoping to get a nice sunset. All was looking good until the mist got so thick it blocked out the sun, still it was a nice warm evening.
Figsbury Ring is an iron-age hill fort with botanically diverse chalk grassland,
representative of that found on the south and south-west chalk. It supports
nationally restricted plant and animal species as well as large populations of
orchids. Such floristically rich downland areas are valuable remnants of a habitat
which has been much reduced by agricultural intensification.
The site, which lies on the Upper Chalk scarp to the north-east of Salisbury, is
essentially flat, with concentric earthworks consisting of an outer ditch with
embankments and an inner ditch.
