My Twins

These are my soon to be 17 year old twin daughters recreating one of our favorite photos of them when ,once upon time, they were my little twin daughters. As we took this picture, i was reminded that somethings have not changed. They still have the gift to make the energy in the room go from 1 to 10 in half a second. The more you try to get them to settle down, the more they feed off one another and their energy just becomes exponential, increasing by powers of ten, until they pretty much take over what was previously going on in the room. Good thing I am a smart mama that has encouraged them to find good outlets for their high energy.... like volleyball, which has in turn won them a college scholarship. Any parent that has multiples should be awarded a college scholarship, in my humble opinion. But i guess in our case, all those difficult moments of parenting multiples has paid off...really there have been many more sweet moments than difficult but definitely multiple toddlers is a challenge.
