The Afternoon After

It was a great night, a beautiful day. The sunset was so gorgeous and warm with enough chill from the wind to create a wonderous balance. I was watching the sunset on the way to Kanayama and I went crazy taking photos of it. However, seeing it from beyond a glass wall, it was separated into a vast array of colours. In this case there weren't many colours but trying to recover from my hangover of red wine made this picture make sense. Trapped behind the glass, the sun was my truth for that moment. Sometimes I think that reality hides the truth and you only get glimpses of it in the cracks or fractions from glass abberations. Thankfully glass can be broken, and someday we can all reach the truth, whatever that may be for every individual.

I think I can get there.
