Mad Shadow

No need for a mural on this wall near NYU, The shadows work just fine for me.

Took a brief walk after work today -- temps in the teens and windchills no doubt @ zero during many of the gusts really empty the streets of the city. After about a mile of walking tho, I really began to understand why no one was out. As I was walking down the steps of the subway this homeless guy asked for some change to get a hot chocolate, I gave him the last dollar I had in my pocket for the day. As I swiped my metrocard he yelled to me to have a nice evening. Here it is, street empty cuz everyones inside somewhere warm, I'm running in out of the frigid weather myself after a half hour walk that numbed my face and this guy with no home is telling me to have a good night. Makes ya think a little.
