A relaxed Sunday.

I thought I'd try to make a similar cake to the one my mum made yesterday. A cheat's cake as the sponge was shop bought (shh!) Turkish clotted cream (kaymak) mixed with a couple of dessert spoons of yoghurt, decorated inside and out with fresh pineapple and strawberries. Easy peasy, nice and tasty!

I'm now enjoying watching rubbish on the BBC iplayer, my favorite way to relax!

The clocks haven't gone forward here, they will do tomorrow morning. The government in Turkey decided to change the date as today was the university entrance exam that all hopefuls sit. There were concerns that if the clocks changed there maybe confusion. I am planning on going to bed early to prepare for being at work at today's 7.30 am!
