My Mean Machine

Birds singing, sun shining, brook babbling - a very fine day. I made a proper start on spring cleaning this morning, and after giving the bedrooms a complete makeover, I wandered along to the library to pick up my books- that was a lot accomplished by midday! Popped into a charity shop on the home, and lo and behold- what did I find but a sewing machine. I snaffled it. And now, back home, I'm wondering how to put it all together, how many functions there are, and what on earth all those knobs and switches do.....

Successes of the Day: flat - tidy; pictures - hung up; me - a step closer to being a bona fide quilter....
