this is my friend diane and her wee one year old lady at her birthday party today. amelie is the coolest baby in town and we are the meldrum arm of her fanclub. the girls dance about amelie like lunatics trying to get her attention and make her laugh...and they talk about amelie like she's one of their mates. from the minute she was born, she became part of the lorelei posse of kids and some time soon will no doubt be tearing about a festival campsite, playing and waiting for her mum to go on stage (but not really caring because she's too busy playing).
