English Summer Camp!

It's summer break for most kids in Thailand, so that means summer camp! My team and I have helped out with a kids' English summer camp for a few days. Those days of summer camp were called "Time with Americans." It made me laugh.

I was impressed at the level of English spoken and understood by the kids in my 7th-9th grade group. They were reading articles in English and answering questions that would probably be found in a 6th grade class in the States. Not everyone understood everything, but if they keep studying, they are going to be far ahead of their peers who haven't put as much effort in to it.
