These nightmare-inducing, face-less, suit-clad lamp men stare down on anyone with the misfortune to be walking past the Royal Oak Murals. I say misfortune as these murals occupy the no-man's land between the Old Kent Road and the Paddington rail line under the dank and noisey shadows of the West Way. Not even good art could shine here let alone this.
