A Small Victory
Ok, its another light trail, however this one is different from my usual ones in that its the first one where i've managed to do a bit of post production to jazz up the colours a little.
And yes it may have taken me five minutes to set up the shot, 3 or 4 minutes to take it, and then 3 bloomin' hours to sort it, but its a small victory for me.
I had planned to take some wildlife shots while walking the dog this afternoon but left the camera at home, and again, all the wildlife recognised it and came out to ridicule me.
Even the Buzzards that have long since appeared to have deserted their nesting tree popped back to taunt me, and i would've got a decent shot this time, honest!!
And finally, before we go to bed, clocks, and that age old, timeless discussion to be had again..
"right, so if they go forward its an hour longer in bed, yes?"
"No, its spring forward,fall back"
"What, no, what do you mean fall, thats an Americanism surely, say Winter so i can understand!"
"Nevermind, its lighter in the daytime and darker at night.."
"Right, ok...no you're wrong there, you know "
"No, i'm not, its get up an hour earlier and then go to bed a bit ........ no, hang on i'm lost now, start again!"
Consequently, after this discussion has rumbled on for a bit and we've reached a happy compromise, all clocks in the house are adjusted, and i can guarantee that not one, not a single one, will have anything close to resembling the correct time for at least the next three days!!
"Its for the farmers you know, it started in the war"
"No it bloody isn't, now stop talking and go to sleep!!!"
