Mmmarmalade cake

sacrificed this morning's walk - in a good cause tho: the making of cake for work tomorrow (it's budget day, we'll need it!) and also a small vat of leek & potato soup to use up some lurking veggies (well, lurking leeks and potatoes, anyway). so this is lime and ginger marmalade slice, which is very fine. the marmalade is lime, to be slightly confusing, though i have made a splendid version with ginger marmalade also.

nice afternoon coffee with TSR, less nice madbusynotimeforbreak evening, nice walk back across the park in conversation. i've had better days, but i've had much worse.
