For the last few years going to the barber's was, as well as getting a tidy-up of the bonse, a way to get the little wisps of grey hair snipped off.

Today was different, with the usual trim complete there still seemed to be large swathes of grey still showing. Something's just not right.

So instead of a gradual, dignified journey to old age, it seems to be coming in quantum leaps.
