underplanting
The people who lived here before us underplanted all the azaleas with these glorious little windflowers, some this gorgeous blue, others white. At the back are white and pink hyacinths with their wonderful scent. It's a real bonus having these before the shrubs come out.
Bend but don't break
to things that distress.
Be like the wind flower -
dance
- and be blessed
from the poem 'Wind Flower' by Anne N. Byam
