Where there's muck there's brass

This is so true in the case of a farmer. He spreads the muck when he can in the early months of the year to nourish the ground, whether it is growing crops or grass for the livestock, and in return he receives payment for what it can produce.

A really hot day today, a little anxious that all this heat is much too early! I took myself off for a walk and found this muckheap in the linseed field. The linseed will flower in the summer months - great for photography!
