Free the Sooty One!

Poor Sooty. For decades the star of children's TV, but reduced circumstances see the lovely yellow bear chained to a post, charity box in hand, begging for the odd penny.

I'm thinking of starting a fund to persuade Raeburn and Corstorphine Pram Centre to sell the tragic wee huckster to me for release into the wild.

Still, it could be worse -Sooty might be working for STV. He'd likely wind up glassed by Aussie gangsters fighting over shortbread tins while watching the fitba ...
