Leaves are falling....

....here at Timaru's Botanical Gardens. This lovely old tree is a Red Oak, and has dropped most of its leaves, seems pretty early in the Autumn season to have so many on the ground.

A stunner of a day, warm, sunny, slight breeze but a warm one - you could be mistaken if you thought it was January. Aha, but there is a catch.....rain and cold southerly wind tomorrow, bumma!!

The Botanical Gardens are right next door to the hospital, so I ventured out for a walk through the trees and around the ponds, it was good for me, even sat on the grass and watched the ducks for a while.

Doug is pretty poorly today, there seems to another problem going on, they have put him on a drip to try and sort out his stomach, thankfully his back seems to be a little less painful, although he is very drugged up and sleepy.
