Fire Sticks Pencil Cactus

I had a hard time deciding which picture to blip today. This cactus isn't the prettiest picture I took today but I see these cactus every day and I'm always drawn to them because of the color and form. Some are only a few inches high and this one was about 5 feet tall. The tops are so colorful and the growth is so unusual. I googled cactus and I think I've correctly identified it as a fire sticks pencil cactus.
