waiting without company

dropped off an APS film for 1 hour processing in Ruislip and sat in Caffé Nero to wait. With a lot of time on my hands I didn't have much inspiration so I was playing with a panorama app called Auto Stitch on the iPhone. Normally I would use it for landscapes but I wanted to try it with a nearby subject. So this picture of a chair is merged from 6 photos. I'm not sure what the haze across the image is from but I like it. Maybe I did have some company after all, a spooky coffee lover manifesting on the armchair.

The APS film had laid forgotten in an Olympus camera since 2003 and had been half used. A new battery brought it back to life and the results had some interesting colour shifts of oranges and purples!
