A Little Bit of Monica in My Life

Meet Monica.

Monica is my desk plant who I very nearly killed.

Lovely Mo placed this here for me moving in, and I promised that I would love and cherish her, but this week, I completely forgot to glance in her direction.

I did today, and she was bone dry, and her pretty little leaves were starting to dry up and look very sad.

I took her to the Disabled Toilets (because they are closest), and I sat her in the sink for a while and Sung (that song above), to cheer her up.

I heard on the radio this morning that playing music to plants really has an effect on them, and one Orchid kept in bloom for over 8 months was played Status Quo for 8 hours a day. What does this tell you? Orchids have absolutely no taste in Music.
