plant some seeds!

Spent the day taking little sprouted Echinacea achenes out of their little petri dishes and placing them into plug trays. As this is an experiment, placement was randomized, so there was lots of moving around to get them all in place.

We'll be comparing two populations, seeds collected from a burned unit and those not and seeing if that has an effect on survival or vigor, among other effects and causes. We have lots of data to look at.
