This is a wildflower called a field speedwell, it has the most delicious shade of blue in my opinion. I fiddled with the camera settings only - no edit once on the laptop - I rediscovered the 'food' setting & the many colour filters. Luckily the sun was shining & for once I managed to capture the iridescence of the petal shining violet.
