Daytripping in Den Haag

A wonderful day out yesterday in the fantastic city of Den Haag, or The Hague is it's better known to native English speakers. This is the Binnenhof, the parliament buildings, which translates in English as 'inner court (yard)'. I didn't realise til yesterday that members of the public can actually access the inner courtyard itself round the rear of this shot, d'oh!

I really ought to spend more time here, great architecture, friendly locals, expat central! I heard so many foreign tongues today and many, many British voices which put a smile on my face and made me feel less 'foreign'!
