The Richmond, Albuquerque

On my way to the Outpost to hear 80 year old guitarist Jim Hall with his quartet. I was thinking about something and drove the wrong direction, so I turned off Central onto Richmond Street and parked near this newly renovated art deco apartment building. I love the lines and curves on the architecture and the colors are wonderful in the southwest light.

The concert was terrific. Joey Baron the drummer is playing better than ever. Steve Espina is a terrific bassist I have never hear before and Greg Osby, saxophone was worth the price of admission. I hope I can play as well as Jim Hall when I'm 80.
