Painting Rooms

After my first born moved out Wednesday I stopped by Home Depot and picked up some paint. She had an awful neon green/blue color in her room, not to mention 8 yrs of being hard on it. Spent Wed and Thursday repainting her room and bathroom this shade of blue. The moldings and doors were an eggshell color so I repainted them bright white to give it some new light. It will be nice having the guest bathroom stay clean for a change!

The next few days will be spent moving Bela's toys and desk to that room, making Bela's old room our guest room and rearranging the Living Room where Bela kept her home school computer and books. She hates her room as it's downstairs and a bit isolated, she gets scared there. Now she'll be right across the hall from my office and the main hub of the house. Her bed was moved to my room a month ago, a move I had to make to reclaim my bed for just me. Her room seems to just be toy storage unless her friends come over.

Painting is hard work but the finished product is awesome. Now I want to repaint my bedroom and bathroom, kitchen, laundry room. Dad wants to paint his room too. Oi Vay what have I started. Before Summer even begins my whole house will be repainted.
