Salad Bowl
Product of Mexico these tomatoes. In this season spoiled and impulsive as I am, I'm terrifically glad for imported food.
Right now I'm reading Prairie Feast by Amy Jo Ehman. It's a mouth watering and celebratory account of her family's year of eating locally. With preparation and research they accomplished it with aplomb. As an interesting aside, did you know that "much of the cumin, coriander,caraway, fenugreek, anise seed and mustard seed used in North America is grown in Saskatchewan."
